As part of the world-wide launching of AfiLab (the most unique and innovative product of its kind that carries out online individual cow milk analysis at each milking session), S.A.E. Afikim held two meetings, one in  Afikim in the North and the other in Be’er Tuvia in the South, for Israeli customers who have the AfiLab installed in their farms.

During the day the farmers received information from the S.A.E. Afikim training department about the abilities of the product and its current and future applications within the AfiFarm herd management software program.
In addition the farmers heard user testimony from Yehuda Sullivan, whose ‘Landau/Sullivan Farm’ in Ramat Tzvi has been using the AfiLab for 3.5 years, and a lecture from Prof. Efraim Malz from the Institute of Agricultural Engineering (Vulcani) about the latent possibilities within the AfiLab data as a tool for improving dairy cow nutrition.
During the meetings (which took place in a positive atmosphere emphasizing the cooperation between S.A.E. Afikim and its customers), S.A.E. Afikim presented the studies it carried out in development of applications for this innovative product, and about the directions future development of the product is expected to take.
The farmers were invited to take an active part in proposing new ideas for utilizing the data produced by this new product
