AfiWeigh^TM is an automatic cow body weighing system. It weighs the cows once to three times daily without interfering with herd traffic to and from  the milking parlor.

 
Cow body weight is a very important tool for stress and health monitoring, as well as to backup decisions such as a feeding and breeding policy.
The graph below shows the gradual decline in body weight after calving, the recovery and gain of body weight at around 40 DIM. The insemination of the cow took place 64 days after calving, noting that she was indeed in positive energy balance, improving the chances of impregnating her. The cow was confirmed pregnant.
