Farm Story
In 1995, we started to work with Afimilk when we were still working with a nutrition company. Then, in 1997, we formed TDM. We began working with Afimilk because we noticed the efficacy of the product.

We knew of the Israeli product because we had dealt with it for dairy cow nutrition. We went to Israel and we personally observed what the product could do for farmers, bringing good results to herd management. We thought it was an interesting product, so we began working with it.

We implemented Afimilk for farm management in 1995. Since then, we've upgraded to the latest modules available, the last installation was just one year ago. The initial installation of Afimilk was essentially decided for milk production and detection of heat periods. However, we soon realized the software's capabilities for use in management as well.

The reason why we initially installed it was to have the ability to detect heats, which means, per se, an increase in production. Where health is concerned, we also saw improvements, specifically, in detecting early signs of mastitis. I use Afimilk one hour a day to supervise work flow and procedures.

Customer Service
In my opinion, the main improvements have been increased reproduction and health management of the herd. Better work organization and better efficiency, especially in the milking parlor.

Afimilk is a precious tool for managing large cattle. It is an investment that gets to the root of the problem. With better work efficiency and reproduction management, we certainly had economic growth.

Besides reproduction and health management, the main advantage of using Afimilk has been in work management.

TDM provides cattle management systems hence, Afimilk systems. Cattle management had been our primary goal, now it's been implemented with our milking systems.

The advantage of Afimilk is that it is a farmer friendly system. It is conceived, developed and updated daily by zoologists, like ourselves. People who have developed not only a milking system but a management system, which is able to give the farmer information he can base his decisions on. I think that utilizing efficient management is the key to how profitable a farmer can be. Therefore, it's important that this be used gainfully.
