Cow Monitoring Sales Specialist


Represent Afimilk NA in the promotion and sales of Cow Monitoring products by developing strategies to maximize new customer opportunities. Take strong lead in identifying and driving relationships with key targeted customers and dairy producers across the region.

II.     Promotion and Selling of Cow Monitoring Solutions (100%)

•           Meet or exceed sales objectives through dealers or when needed direct sales to dairy producers

•           Prepare and present cow monitoring quotes

•           Coordinate and manage installation in the field of direct sales related to cow monitoring

•           Prepare sales action plans and strategies

•           Partner with Dealer Channel Sales & Business Development Manager(s) to develop Cow Monitoring Sales.

•           Partner with Business Development Manager(s) to manage dairy farm database

•           Work with Business Development Manager(s) in the gathering, understanding, rationalizing current and future

dairyman buying trends and needs

•           Prospect for potential new customers and turn into increased business

•           Ensure smooth dairy transition (sales prospects) to Territory Manager when needed

•           Promote Afimilk solutions by direct contact, customer group meetings, prospective customer farm tours

•           Represent company at key conferences, seminars, & trade shows

•           Create, analyze, manage KPIs related to cow monitoring sales

•           Ongoing management of prospect pipeline

•           Maintains sales activity records and prepares needed sales reports

•           Become expert on cow monitoring solutions and products both Afimilk and competitors

•           Become expert in showcasing AfiFarm Software to prospects

•           Become expert in showcasing AfiFarm Software, Aficloud & Afi2Go Prime App to prospective purchasers

•           Promote communication with Region and Global Team Members

•           Other duties as assigned





•       Knowledge of the U.S. dairy market a plus

•       Strong business acumen

•       Ability to simultaneously manage daily operational activities and long-term strategy

•       Excellent communication and presentation skills

•       Strong existing network of large dairy producer relationships

•       Experience calling on and selling to large dairy producers

•       Strong negotiation skills

•       B.S. in agriculture with M.B.A. preferred



•           Works with all members of the Afimilk U.S., Canada Team and with members of the Afimilk headquarters group in Israel.
