SW Technical Support Specialist

Description

To succeed in the position, the Technician will be required to:

  • Be qualified on all Afimilk core products, including on-site & remote support and technical training
  • Provide technical support for Afimilk’s products all over Germany and other EU areas
  • Provide remote & onsite support according to Regional Sales manager / HQ requirements
  • Participate in Global Support Team training and seminars overseas
  • Provide technical training, on-site or as seminars, to Afimilk’s dealers and their technical teams (SW / HW knowledge)
  • Provide presale support to Afimilk’s sales personnel and dealers’ / distributor’s sales personnel, increase sales when possible
  • Provide after-sale technical support to Afimilk’s Regional Sales Managers/dealers
  • Follow the correct call escalation process and SLA as set by HQ
  • Special projects/assignments as requested by Regional Sales Manager / Israel HQ

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of practical knowledge experience in technical support of IT (SQL, TCP/IP Networks / Windows environment)
  • At least 3 years of practical knowledge experience of WIFI systems environment
  • Customer service orientation
  • Leadership qualities: ability to lead local installation teams
  • Frontal and online training skills
  • Good verbal communication in German & English
  • Highly disciplined, motivated, and able to self-manage one’s time/tasks
  • Willing for extensive traveling
  • Dairy farm working environment - practical knowledge & previous experience - an advantage
