Manage DIM Ranges Based on VWP

Like cows' yield, FE is known to fluctuate according to the cows' DIM within the lactation cycle. To improve FE data integrity, it is recommended to maximize the gap between calving and first insemination according to the Voluntary Waiting Period (VWP); consider the following scenarios:

• VWP is set to 50 days: Farmer uses DIM range #1 for first insemination.

• VWP is set to 70 days: Farmer uses DIM range #2 for first insemination. Range #2 is further from the calving date, increasing the FE data stability.
