Attach the MPC Solenoid Cover

Intensive use of water spraying on the Milk Meter's body may increase the failure rate of Milk Meter solenoids.

Afimilk developed a solenoid cover to address this issue. The cover fits over the existing milk meter and does not require any adjustments to the milk meter device. The Solenoid Cover serves as an additional layer and its installation is required only in cases where direct water spraying is used for washing the Milk Meters.

To mount the MPC solenoid cover

1. Release the bottom clasp on the milk meter.

2. Detach the tubes attached to the solenoid.

3. Place the solenoid cover into position under the milk meter, and thread the solenoid cable in the allotted space.

4. Slide the plug in to secure the cable.

5. Align the cover with the solenoid and push the cover into place.

6. Secure the bottom clasp back in place, then reattach the tubes.
