Early Cluster Removal Alerts
Expected cow performance is sent to the MPC Control Box when the cow is identified at the milking point.
Likewise, the milking cups are automatically removed and withdrawn to their holders when the cow is milked out.
Situations may arise when the clusters are removed early, before the cow is completely milked out, or when the cow performance does not reach its expectations.
Note: Alerts for premature cluster removal, with no identified reason, are indicated when the milk yield and side LEDs flash after the cluster is removed. When this happens with no other code, the operator should consider re-attachment.
Alert messages for early cluster removal are displayed to indicate to the operator why the cups were removed early. This information can be used to decide how to proceed:

The message is activated when blood detection is above threshold.The milk from this stall must be diverted from the main milk line (into a bucket) and the cluster is re-attached before the MPC continues to milk the cow without cluster removal, even if AfiLab still detects blood (until ACR is activated). |
