Set Milking Point ID Numbers

It is necessary to assign the correct stall number to each milk meter. This allows AfiFarm to identify which device is communicating and assign the correct data to cows.

Note: The highest Stall ID number allowed is 64. In parlors larger than 64 milking points, multiple communication lines are needed for connecting the milk meters to the system!

To set the Milk Meter ID Number

  1. Ensure the MPC is in wash mode (the LED ON ).

  2. Press

    The stall number inside the control box appears .

  3. Type the identification number for the stall in a two-digit format (example: for stall number 3 type 03).

  4. Press to save the new number.

    The new ID number is now defined.
