Maintain Solenoid and Clean-air Line

Proper maintenance is essential for milk meter functionality and longevity. Vacuum and clean air lines must be kept dry, and drained regularly.

Drain valve

A properly functioning drain valve drains water that has condensed in the line.

• Check the valve condition once a week. 

• Ensure the valve is totally sealed when there is a vacuum, and that it is open when the parlor is not in operation.

Suction filter

• Remove the filter from the line once a month.

• Clean the filter with compressed air.

• Change the filter when damaged or partially dirty.

Clean-air line 

• Check the clean-air line frequently for water - open the ball valve once a week, to drain any water.
