According to Ronen Zexer, the CEO of S.A.E Afikim, the president said that there are no milk cows in East Timor at all and they are forced to import milk powder or condensed milk from Australia or Indonesia and that he wants to build the dairy industry in his country with the aid of Israeli technology.

Setting up the dairy farm will enable the people of East Timor, of which there are a little over a million, to have fresh milk and will contribute to the economy of his country.
