Job Description
The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving Afimilk’s products’ sales in the dairy industry. They will be responsible for building pipeline, meeting or exceeding sales targets, maintaining sales records, and fostering strong relationships with dealers and dairy producers. Working closely with SD ,GM and HQ, they ensure customer satisfaction and develop existing and new sales channels. This role demands extensive travel and proficiency in English and Danish.
Responsibilities
- Build strong , direct sales presence in designated area.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets through management of designated dealers in the territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the dealers, providing continuous support and communication.
- Provide sales support and training to dealers’ staff and sales team.
- Management of leads within the territory.
- Collaborate and work effectively with EU region and HQ team members (apps support, technical etc.)
- Participate in training programs and seminars conducted by the global team.
- Assist Afimilk’s dealers/distributors with pre-sales activities to drive increased sales.
- Take on special projects and assignments as assigned by the Regional Sales Director , General Manager Europe or HQ.
Required Experience and traits:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B Sales.
- Dairy farming experience is crucial to succeed in this position.
- Experience in initiating and maintaining sales channels.
- High level of sales skills.
- Milking installations sales experience is highly appreciated
- Robotic milking installations sales experience is highly appreciated
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Effective verbal communication and presentation skills in Danish and English
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Highly disciplined, motivated team player with capability of managing time and tasks independently.
