Introducing the faces of Afimilk New Zealand Limited
Introduction
Afimilk has established boots on the ground in the New Zealand market with a constantly growing team of experts. The NZ based team has grown with a view to ensuring Afimilk NZ can offer NZ farmers quality products with quality service and excellent backup support.
Supply chains have been consolidated to ensure Afimilk can offer a fast turnaround time for orders, replacement parts and on the ground technical servicing for our customers.
Meet the team
John joined Afimilk late 2020. He has spent time in various industries in the agricultural sector throughout his career.
Bernadine is Afimilk’s Application Support Manager. She’s a qualified Veterinarian and after years practicing on dairy farms she began working with Afimilk products. She has over 10 years’ experience working with Afimilk technology and works hard ensure our customers and dealers are proficient in all Afimilk’s various reporting products.
Glenn Gardner (not pictured) provides remote support to our New Zealand customers from his Australian home base as well as looking after Afimilk’s Australian customers. Glenn has more than 20 years’ experience installing, servicing, and supporting Afimilk hardware and software in the Australia and New Zealand market.
Javier is an electronics engineer and an integral part of our technical team. He has over 20 years’ experience in dairy farm innovation and automation. He has worked with significant NZ brands in product development, (farm automation), and has extensive knowledge in deployment of products that are fit for purpose.
Sahar Ariely joins us from Wellington where he worked as the financial controller for the Israeli embassy. He is our operations administrator and works closely with both our clients and dealerships to make sure the moving parts of the business runs smoothly.
Erin, Afimilk’s second Application Support Specialist works alongside Bernadine. Erin comes to us with 15 years’ experience working in the agriculture sector. Over this time she’s worked in leading companies developing and launching new and innovative products to market. She brings a wealth of knowledge and is perfectly placed to help our farmers extract the maximum value from their investment in Afimilk technology.
Colin Grainger-Allen has recently been appointment as North Island Area Sales Manager. Previously a sharemilker, and recently working with farmers in the area of Dairy Extension, Colin has a wealth of industry and practical dairy farming knowledge to understand how best to match Afimilk’s offerings with on-farm needs.
And our most recent appointment, Carl van Voorst, (not pictured), will head up the technical team in the South Island. Based in Christchurch, Carl has a wealth of experience in on-farm automation. Carl will bring well needed resource to our southern farmers.
