At the end of November 2018, in Voloshovo settlement of the Luzhsky district of the Leningrad region, two yards of the animal-breeding complex for 300 cows each opened after the modernization of and the newly built milking parlor “Herringbone” for 28 cows was put into operation.
Investments in construction amounted to 114 million Rubles, of which 34 million rubles – own funds and 80 million rubles – provided to the farm on credit. The general director of Voloshovo JSC, Galina Tiron, says the project will allow to increase the number of cows to 850 (+260 heads), and milk production after the complex reaches its design capacity will amount to 11 thousand tons per year.
The upgraded dairy complex is equipped with high-tech equipment and a computerized management system by Afimilk. All works were carried out by Afimilk dealer – Max-Agro company.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region – Chairman of the Committee on Agro-Industrial and Fisheries Complex, Oleg Malashchenko, head of the Luzhsk municipal district A.V. Ivanov, Acting head of administration of the Luzhsk municipal district Yu.V. Namliev, heads of agricultural enterprises of the district, other officials.
